About Center for Public Enterprise

The Center for Public Enterprise believes an active public sector can deliver essential public option goods and services at low cost, and drive down inefficient economic rents in the market. Public enterprises already serve people in many sectors of the economy—like transit, education, water and sewer—and with great benefit. Our aim is to grow the role for the public sector in the 21st century economy by helping to establish new public institutions that can overcome today’s economic constraints.

CPE works with local and state government agencies, advocacy organizations, researchers and academics to support successful design and implementation of public goods programs. Let us know if you’d like to get in touch.

CPE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
