Senior Associate for Transmission

Mitchell is a clean energy and environmental policy expert focused on electricity transmission, permitting, and infrastructure delivery. Most recently, he worked for the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Grid Deployment Office (GDO), where he helped accelerate federal permitting and environmental reviews for large-scale transmission projects and led the delivery of technology tools to improve infrastructure decision-making. He holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Xavier University, with concentrations in Biology, Economics, Environmental Studies, and Peace and Justice Studies.
